Our clients are small to mid size companies, ranging from a handful of local employees to several hundred across the country and internationally. Industries including energy, gas and oil, banking and finance, education, science, manufacturing, billing, and retail make up just some of our client portfolio.
Unlike the off-the-shelf approach common to the industry, we believe in creating customized solutions that suit our clients' goals, culture, and needs. As an industry leader, Bob has always focused on the value and importance of human resources as a vital business function. Bob believes that, regardless of size, every company should have access to world-class HR expertise. His experience in cross functional positions helped develop and hone his belief that excellent human resources drive productivity, efficiency, and effectiveness leading to the achievement of both financial and non-financial organizational goals. A focus on people-driven outcomes driving business performance is necessary to meet each company's unique challenges and goals.
Bob holds a Master's of Science in Industrial Relations and a Bachelor's of Science in Business Administration from West Virginia University. He began his career in the Westinghouse Electric Human Resources Executive Development Program, and was eventually named the Vice President of Human Resources at Westinghouse Communications. Bob has worked across several industries including technology (Stargate Industries and Verizon Wireless), manufacturing (Harris Corporation and Chromalox) and various professional services organizations where he provided business startup leadership to early stage and emerging private equity funded companies. He has worked in a variety of functions including sales management, project management, profit and loss responsibility, and international operations.
In his free time, Bob enjoys spending time with his family, cooking, and travelling.
Leslie serves a dual role as Director of Administration at Acuity HR and President of Acuity RPO. Her recruiting efforts are bolstered by her passion to help individuals and companies find successful outcomes through defined recruitment and interviewing strategies to assess candidate skills, competencies and motivations fit for the position in question.
Acuity Recruitment Process Outsourcing (Acuity RPO) was formed to help organizations better define and implement a focused recruiting strategy to alleviate issues in the talent acquisition process. Leslie has conducted thousands of interviews with job candidates and has used her experience to help organizations across all industries successfully staff roles critical to their business success.
With a Bachelor's degree from Washington and Jefferson College in Sociology and a minor in Psychology, Leslie has always been interested in the study of human interaction. This curiosity led her to West Virginia University where she received a Master's degree in Education. She began her career in education before joining Acuity HR in 2007.
As the Director of HR Operations, Laura leads the strategic and daily operations for project management and HR outsourcing processes and solutions. In her 15 years with Acuity HR, Laura has seen our business grow and her client work has spanned a wide variety of industries. Her goal is to create and customize HR/Business focused solutions that focus on client needs, while providing the desired service level for successful client outcomes.
Prior to Acuity HR, her human resources background includes Verizon Wireless, Rockwell Automation/Allen-Bradley, The May Company, and Fidelity Bank. With a Bachelor's of Science Degree in Psychology from Indiana University of Pennsylvania, her credentials include Senior Professional in Human Resources (HRCI), Senior Certified Professional (SHRM), Certified Development Dimensions International Behavioral Based Interviewing Trainer, Certified Predictive Index Analyst, and member of SHRM, PHRA, and BHRA.
Laura resides in Cranberry Township and volunteers her time as an adult literacy tutor with Butler County Community College.
As a Senior HR Business Partner with over 14 years of human resources experience, Anthony specializes in providing both tactical and strategic services. He frequently provides onsite client support focused on training/development, employee handbooks, job descriptions, workplace problem solving, HR audits, and trusted HR business/strategy advice.
Anthony holds a Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources Management from Point Park University which has helped provide a foundation of HR expertise with a focus on success for our clients. His HR career has spanned multiple sectors from civic development to healthcare technology, allowing for innovation and customization when developing solutions for clients in any industry.
A native of Pittsburgh, Anthony is a long-time member of several of the city's cultural institutions, including the Carnegie Museums, the Frick Pittsburgh, and the Heinz History Center.
Partnering with Acuity HR clients through her positive, client-first approach, Abby is a key member of our team. She provides enthusiastic support with projects such as handbook creation, policy development, job analysis, and process improvements.
Abby earned a Bachelor's of Science Degree in Human Resources Management from Indiana University of Pennsylvania, along with her certification as a Certified Professional (CP) through the Society for Human Resources Management. Along with her education, she gained beneficial knowledge and experience from her most recent position with PPG in the area of benefits and HR.
In Abby's free time, she enjoys doing activities outdoors with her husband and dog.
Becky is consistently able to work with all levels of client organizations to find optimal solutions that deliver value. Before joining Acuity Human Resources in 2019, Becky spent nearly 15 years working in the retail, higher education, healthcare, and software industries. She has held positions in payroll, HRIS, and in full HR generalist capacities. Becky's niche is that of an "HR Department of One," where she excels at simultaneously managing multiple initiatives and priorities.
Becky earned her Bachelor's degree from Washington & Jefferson College in Business Administration while lettering four years in NCAA basketball. She later achieved her Master's degree in Human Resource Management from La Roche University. She is designated as a Certified Professional (CP) through the Society for Human Resource Management (SHRM). Becky is also a member of the Pittsburgh Human Resources Association (PHRA).
Becky lives in Mars, PA with her husband and two children. When not working, you can find her coaching or supporting her kids in baseball, softball, or basketball.
Laura specializes in partnering with clients to provide strategic HR consulting and relationship driven solutions for recruitment efforts. She has a strong desire to represent her clients' opportunities with integrity and care, and views herself as part of the team. Laura strives to deliver customized recruiting solutions for each of her clients. Acuity RPO's solution brings measurable results that attract and retain the highest level of talent with both process-driven recruiting and contingent searches that are designed to be flexible and affordable.
After graduating from Penn State University, Laura progressed her career with Baker and Taylor Video/Rank Retail Services as Marketing and Sales Director/VP. Her experience also includes Trib Total Media, Cinema Advertising, and ELF Entertainment/Christmas Décor. HR consulting clients include GNC, General Motors, and Brabender Cox. Laura brings marketing and organizational leadership for start-ups, privately owned entities, and large media corporations.
When she's not assisting Acuity RPO clients with their recruitment efforts, Laura is most likely matching friends, family, and people in her network to college majors, internships, trade choices, hiring companies and sometimes even pets!
In her position as Training and Development Business Partner, Erica Frischmann specializes in helping companies assess their business strategies and achieve their growth goals through innovation, operational excellence, and human capital management. Erica brings a proven record of success with over thirty years of experience in Human Resources, Consulting, and Customer Service. Prior to joining Acuity Human Resources, Erica was responsible for developing and executing tactical and strategic human resources initiatives to attract, recruit, and retain talent for several high growth organizations.
Erica holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Management from Grove City College and a Master of Business Administration degree in Human Resources and Accounting from the University of Pittsburgh’s Katz Graduate School of Business. Erica is a certified Sales Performance and Customer Excellence Trainer for Miller Heiman Group, Development Dimensions International Certified Facilitator, and Training with Industry: Job Relations and Job Instructions Certified Trainer, as well as a New Product Development Professional from the Product Development and Management Association.

As the founder of Acuity Human Resources, Bob Floreak’s vision is simple – the companies that need human resources expertise the most can't afford to establish a full service department. So he created Acuity Human Resources. Focusing on mid-market companies, Acuity Human Resources provides the services and expertise to targeted organizations that is equal to that enjoyed by large corporations. Having worked for Fortune 500 organizations as well as start-ups and small entrepreneur organizations in operational, sales support and human resources leadership positions, Bob understands the linkage of HR practices to the business and describes himself as “a business person that focuses on human resources, not just an HR guy”.
One of his favorite quotes is “if running a business was easy, everyone would start one.” We all know business is a challenge. From the basics of administration to linking organizational design with business objectives, human resources is one of the most critical aspects of ensuring that organizations achieve profit objectives as they grow. HR is sometimes viewed as an administrative function but the world’s most successful businesses embrace HR as a cornerstone to success.
