Bob has led the Human Resources and Strategic Business efforts for small regional companies and large national corporations for over 25 years. He started his Human Resources career as part of the Westinghouse Electric Human Resources Executive Development Program and was promoted into positions of increasing authority until being named the Vice President of Human Resources at Westinghouse Communications.

Bob has also held positions outside of the human resources function including sales management, project management, profit & loss responsibility, and international operations. This cross-functional experience has provided him with the unique ability to ensure that all human resources and organizational efforts are aligned with business objectives. Bob has worked across various industries including technology companies like Stargate Industries and Verizon Wireless, manufacturers like Harris Corporation and Chromalox (a JP Morgan portfolio company) and professional services organizations like Edison Consulting where he was responsible for providing business start-up leadership to early stage and emerging private equity funded companies.

He holds a Master's of Science Degree in Industrial Relations and a Bachelor's of Science Degree in Business Administrations from West Virginia University. Bob is a Certified Predictive Index Analyst and frequent speaker on HR, organizational, and business topics.

Today, Bob and the entire Acuity team focus on the mission that every company, regardless of size, should be able to utilize world-class HR programs for growth. His ability to combine business understanding, sophisticated HR, and people skills have integrated Bob and his team into the companies they service.

Director of HR Operations

As the Director of HR Operations, Laura leads the strategic and daily operations for project management and human resources outsourcing processes and solutions.  Her client work as a consultant has spanned a wide variety of industries, and has focused on creating and customizing HR/Business focused solutions that focus on client need, while providing the desired service level for successful client outcomes.

Her human resources background includes Verizon Wireless, Rockwell Automation/Allen-Bradley, The May Company, and Fidelity Bank.  With a Bachelor's of Science Degree in Psychology from Indiana University of Pennsylvania, her credentials include Senior Professional in Human Resources (HRCI), Senior Certified Professional (SHRM), Certified Development Dimensions International Behavioral Based Interviewing Trainer, Certified Predictive Index Analyst, and member of SHRM, PHRA, and BHRA.

HR Business Partner

Acuity clients who select on-site managed HR assistance partner with Anthony and value his guidance on managing their HR function. He is often found onsite at a client providing both daily and strategic services that may range from training and development, employee handbooks and job description creation, workplace problem solving, HR audits, and trusted HR business and strategy advice.

Anthony’s HR career began with the visionary ImaginePittsburgh organization. His Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources Management and Service from Point Park University also helped to create his foundation of HR expertise while he was the Human Resources Generalist for healthcare tech company Diskriter.

HR Business Partner

Becky shares her broad range of human resources knowledge to clients through support in a full generalist capacity, including training, policy and handbook development, employee relations, and management guidance.  In prior roles as an HR “department of one”, Becky honed her ability to simultaneously manage multiple initiatives for her clients, including compliance, compensation, and her passion for organizational development. 

Becky brings a strong HR technical background to the Acuity team, through positions at HighJump Software and The University of Pittsburgh Medical Center (UPMC).   She progressed in her career from HR Specialist to Assistant Director of Human Resources with La Roche University where she focused on organizational development, benefits, and salary administration.  

Becky earned her Bachelor’s degree from Washington & Jefferson College and a Master’s degree in Human Resource Management from La Roche University.  She has achieved both the certified Professional in Human Resources (PHR) designation through the Human Resources Certification Institute (HRCI) as well as the Certified Professional (CP) designation through the Society for Human Resources Management.

Partnering with Acuity HR clients through her positive, client-first approach, Abby is a key member of our team. She provides enthusiastic support with projects such as handbook creation, policy development, job analysis, and compensation review.

Abby earned a Bachelor’s of Science Degree in Human Resources Management from Indiana University of Pennsylvania, along with her certification as a Certified Professional (CP) through the Society for Human Resources Management.  Along with her education, she gained beneficial knowledge and experience from her most recent position with PPG in the area of benefits and HR.

HR Operations Specialist

Caitlyn supports our clients in an array of project work, including policy/handbook development, market compensation analysis, and development of HR initiatives.  With a talented and creative flair, she creates Acuity HR newsletters and bulletins, develops monthly HR Roundtable presentations, and manages the website client portal.

She has a Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology from Thiel College, and a Master’s Degree in Industrial and Organizational Psychology from The Chicago School of Professional Psychology, along with her certification as a Professional in Human Resources (PHR).   As an Associate I/O Psychologist with Fields Consulting Group, she gained valuable insight and experience with state-of-the-art human capital assessment and development programs. She brings her experience from G.W. Becker as an HR Generalist to Acuity clients.

HR Consultant

Danielle provides leadership for the Acuity Human Resources office in Elkhorn, Nebraska with a broad scope of HR and recruiting expertise. Acuity clients benefit from her experience as the HR Manager for a Verizon Wireless call center with over 1,000 employees, and HR Manager for the entrepreneurial technology start-up company, Stargate. Her focus in these roles centered around organizational growth, leadership development, employee relations, recruitment, and retention.

Clients rely on Danielle's business consulting focus to provide both tactical and strategic assistance that maintains alignment with their business objectives. With a Bachelor’s of Science Degree in Psychology from Iowa State University, and a Master’s Degree in Industrial and Labor Relations from Indiana University of Pennsylvania, Danielle resides in Nebraska with her family.

The belief that talent acquisition and recruitment can be founded in both HR and business principles is the philosophy that Leslie brought to founding the recruiting division for Acuity HR. Managing the recruitment process for clients means matching opportunities with candidates by assessing motivation, competencies, experience, and cultural fit.

With a Bachelor’s Degree in Sociology and a Minor in Psychology from Washington and Jefferson College, Leslie has unique candidate assessment skills.  She also earned a Master of Arts Degree in Education from West Virginia University. Leslie oversees operational and administration functions for Acuity.

Laura specializes in providing our clients with strategic consulting and relationship driven solutions for their recruitment efforts. She brings decades of marketing and organizational leadership for start-up companies, privately owned entities, and large media corporations. After graduating from Penn State, Laura progressed her career with Baker and Taylor Video/Rank Retail Services as Marketing and Sales Director/VP.  Her experience also includes Trib Total Media, Cinema Advertising, and ELF Entertainment/Christmas Décor. Consulting clients included GNC, General Motors, Thrift Drug, and Brabender Cox.

As the founder of Acuity Human Resources, Bob Floreak’s vision is simple – the companies that need human resources expertise the most can't afford to establish a full service department. So he created Acuity Human Resources.
